INJECTION MOULDING OF THERMOPLASTICS

SIPLA has a wide and diversified fleet of machines, consisting of 30 injection moulding machines for thermoplastics (clamping force from 10 to 720 tonnes):

- 4 vertical presses with sliding table;

- 6 of the latest presses for two-component moulding (withdrawal, rotary table, index);

- 20 horizontal presses.

All machines are subject to dedicated scheduled maintenance plans, aimed at ensuring the maintenance of the efficiency, precision and reliability necessary for the moulding of technical articles.

Over the years we have acquired a deep knowledge of engineering plastics (techno-polymers) specific to each sector of application. This experience, the selected machines, but above all our operators, represent outstanding technical and product knowledge. The polymers used for production mainly belong to the following families and are, according to the needs of the product, filled with fibre or glass sphere, minerals, self-extinguishing additives; stabilised against heat, hydrolysis and UV exposure. The constant collaboration with leading suppliers in the development of new formulations allows us to respond to the needs and regulations of each application.
